Every January, Glasgow becomes the heart of the global folk music scene, hosting a festival that brings together hundreds of artists and thousands of attendees across more than three hundred events. This year, a piece of Scottish spirit crosses the Atlantic to join Festival Internacional Cervantino, carrying with it a vibrant blend of tradition and innovation. In this special edition, Mexican musicians will share the stage with Scottish singers and dancers in a performance that weaves together two living traditions: the richness of Mexican roots and the ancestral power of Celtic music. Through fusions, shared rhythms and a deep respect for their origins, the artists create a common space where language is no barrier and distance fades away.
