She began her training in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UNAM, in the graduate program of Drama Literature and Theater. She perfected her knowledge with José Caballero, Alberto Lomnitz, Enrique Singer, Jesusa Rodríguez, and Omar Argentino, among other teachers. Since 1994 she took part in different theater plays for children, youth, and adults. In commercial theater, she performed in La estética del crimen, directed by Alberto Lomnitz. For over 15 years, she has explored the cabaret genre. Some of the most important productions where she has participed are: Enemigos de Fox and Divorciadas. She took part in the staging of Buenas personas. She received an award by the ACPT, for her cabaret show Las noches con Monina Mistral desde el Teatro Milán. She’s currently collaborating in Pillowman, directed by Miguel Septién.
