The guitarist from Guanajuato presents Oniros, a recital featuring works by Ibero-American composers inspired by the world of dreams. The programme includes El fantasma de Manuel de Falla by Simone Iannarelli, Transparencias by Ezequiel Burín, Tres microludios para guitarra by Felipe González Bustamante, and Dos escenas fugaces by Salceda himself.
Each piece stems from a different idea: metaphors about the guitar, Greek myths, imaginary landscapes, or brief narratives. Through these works, the concert offers a journey from dream to musical form, exploring the literary, the symbolic, and the emotional.
As the guitarist himself points out, “Between fantasies, literary allusions, psychic automatism, and sleepless nightmares, a group of Ibero-American composers recover fragments of dreams, moving from dream to idea and from idea to composition in an analogue and timeless anchoring.”
