The renowned singer and songwriter Julieta Venegas joins her voice with Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato, under the direction of Mtra. Iryda Inés Rodríguez Pedraza, to offer a concert that proposes a new way to experience the songs that have defined her career in a symphonic format.

This project premiered in Tijuana, her hometown, with Orquesta Estatal de Baja California before an audience of more than forty thousand people, and was later successfully presented in Uruguay with two sold-out performances at Auditorio Nacional del Sodre.

In 2024, Julieta gave a historic concert at the Zócalo in Mexico City before more than ninety thousand attendees, and was recognised by the Latin Grammy Awards as one of the most influential women in Latin music with the 2024 Leading Ladies award.

Press quotes

“Venegas delivered one of those concerts that border on perfection. Accompanied by the 26 musicians of SUSI (Selección Uruguaya Sinfónica) and the three members of her band (Juan Francisco Malissia, Belén López, and Joaquín Taba Kuwae), she reimagined the greatest hits of her career. It was a short recital —at least by current standards: an hour and a half— but powerful.”

Rodrigo Guerra, El País

“This unmissable show is a milestone in Julieta’s long and successful career since she began as a solo artist in 1996, a journey that has seen her perform in Uruguay several times.”
