Coro de Madrigalistas de Bellas Artes
Voces que atraviesan el silencio
Mexico
This performance offers a choral experience by bringing together two 20th-century composers rarely performed in Mexico: the Swiss Frank Martin and the Italian Ildebrando Pizzetti. The program is performed entirely a cappella.
The first half features Martin’s Messe pour double chœur, a masterpiece of serenity and sacred character. Composed for double choir, it stands out for its refined and ethereal atmosphere.
After the intermission, the concert continues with Pizzetti’s Messa di Requiem. This piece offers a deeply emotional experience that uses the human voice to explore consolation and the search for transcendence.
