Samoyedo
Tributo a la música tejana
Jalisco
Samoyedo pays tribute to the ensemble music of the 1970s that was heard in the northern part of the country. This era marked an important period for regional music, in which the accordion, electric guitar, and danceable rhythms were an essential part of the community’s musical identity.
The band pays homage to its most important influences, such as Los Chachos, Tuff Band, David Lee Garza y Los Musicales, and Steve Jordan, to name a few. With this tribute, they seek to keep alive the musical essence of the bands that shaped an entire generation; their journey through sounds, melodies, and atmosphere has made the band a cultural symbol of the north.
Artists
‘Creators of a musical style all their own that makes them unique. Los Samoyedo are one of those groups that overflow with talent yet remain among the most underrated.’
