This band, formed in 2011 by Demarca, Rafael Lorga and Juliana Linhares, presents a performative show that could only have been born in Brazil. They invite the audience to experience what it means to “be Brazilian” through a journey full of rhythms, anecdotes, dances and cultural encounters. Nací en Brasil is their third album, a project that explores and unfolds the legacy of Brazilian song in search of sonorities and poetics that help us decipher the current times. The band exalts traditional popular music without losing sight of the novelties in Brazilian culture and art.

“A breath of strength and delicacy in the new generation of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), the trio Pietá, formed in 2012 by Juliana Linhares (vocals) from Rio de Janeiro and Frederico Demarca and Rafael Lorga (guitars, vocals and percussion), captivated the public with their debut album, Leve o Que Quiser. Moving through regional music and samba, they release live a new song, Com os Pés no Futuro, composed by artist Manduka (1952-2004).”

“The feeling of awe for the city is present in some of the new songs that will be performed in the shows, such as the new singles Virará and Jabaculê. The first one, talks about the city that welcomes and distorts at the same time, under a voice empowered by the urban being, the band's motto. The second, plays with the word “bribery”, as battled as consecrated by what is known as the “Brazilian way”.
