“Nio” means soul in Mandinka, a language belonging to the Mandé region, the cultural and linguistic area of the Mandinka peoples in West Africa, and the native language of the young Senegalese musician, singer, and composer Momi Maiga. It is precisely that soul that can be felt in each performance, suspended in the memory and poetry of West Africa since the 16th century.
Heir to the ancient Mandinka tradition of the art of the kora, a kind of 21-string calabash harp, Momi embodies the living continuity of a family lineage of performers whose deeply spiritual music has been an essential means of reflecting on human values.
Together with Catalan percussionist Aleix Tobias Sabater, cellist Marçal Ayats, and Mexican violinist Carlos Montfort, the cultures of Casamance in Senegal, Mexico, and Catalonia merge into a sea of transcontinental rhythms and sonorities capable of surprising and enveloping the audience at every moment.

Discounts will be valid until 30 September 2026 and apply to:
- Senior citizens with an INAPAM card.
- Students and teachers with a valid ID card.
- People with a disability with a valid CONAPRED card.
- Residents of the municipality of Guanajuato who present a valid INE (No exceptions. Proof of address or any other documents will not be accepted).

- Monday to Thursday: 50% discount.
- Friday to Sunday: 30% discount.
- Maximum of 2 discounted tickets per person.
