Lin Jianyu

Born on December 17, 1964, he is a national Ⅱ-class artist, deputy director of Quanzhou Marionette Arts Center, member of UNIMA, board member of China Puppetry and Shadow Arts Association, viceresident of Fujian Marionette Committee. He graduated from Fujian Art School majoring in Quanzhou Marionette Performance in 1983. He has visited dozens of countries and regions all over the world and has performed in CCTV, Great Hall of the People, UN Headquarters, UNESCO Headquarters, World Expo 2010, Carnegie Hall, Concertgebou, etc. Many of the works in which he has performed have won provincial, national and even international awards.
