Trío Alondras Huastecas

It was formed in 2008 under the direction of maestro Mario Chávez, renowned trainer in the Regional Music workshop of the Centro Cultural de la Huasteca Potosina in Ciudad Valles. It is made by Dana Sofía Limón, on violin; Rebeca Limón, on jarana; and Diana Laura Hernández, on quinta huapanguera guitar. In 2020 they participated in the 17th Moscow Meet Friends International Festival in Russia, in the International Meeting of Improvised Singing Europe Bat-Batean, in Spain, and in the VII Iberoamerican Conference of Children and Young Poets, Troubadours and Versadores. A year later they participated in the Gustavo Vaqueras Contreras International Folklore Festival, in the city of Zacatecas. Among their awards are the State Youth Award 2014 and the National Youth Award 2015.
