Diana Flores

Vocalist of the group, she is also a singer-songwriter and interpreter of the repertoire in Náhuatl that alternates with Spanish. She is originally from Huautla, a town located in the Huasteca region of Hidalgo. In addition to Auikal, she is also part of a Huastecan trio that is the traditional ensemble of the region; with it she has participated in the Festival Emergencia (Latin America), 3rd Festival of Indigenous Languages from UAM Cuajimalpa, 1st Festival of Urban Culture, IV Festival of Native Languages FLOR 2022, Titanio TV and independent forums in México City. She has also given interviews for Radio Ibero 90.9, Radio Ciudadana 660 A.M. and the online TV program El Cuarto Live. She is currently working on the demos for the recording of an EP.
