Flor de Autonomía

This artistic collective was founded by Karla Marisol Yáñez Oros in Chiapas in 2012 and is inspired by the folklore, wisdom and cosmovision of native cultures. Her poetics is nourished by the linguistic richness of our languages and her lyrics exalt femininity and give voice to just causes. In their most recent collaborative stage, they became an all-female group. They have two independent record productions: Flor de autonomía ( 2016), Aprendiz de humana ( 2023), in addition to multiple collaborations with artists in the genre of traditional and world music. They have performed in forums, cultural centers, museums and festivals throughout Mexico and the United States.
