Ópera de Bellas Artes

The National Opera Company of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature is an artistic institution with a background that dates back to 1943, when the National Opera civil association was created. It has been sponsored by both the bank and the Mexican government. Currently, Ópera de Bellas Artesintegrates the National Opera Company and Estudio de la öpera de Bellas Artes (program for operistic specialization). Through different activities, it contributes to the formation of audiences, the development of opera as an artistic genre and the professionalization of national artists. Throughout its existence, the National Opera Company has performed numerous world premieres and has positioned itself as one of the main promoters of opera in America. It has become a space where remarkable international figures have projected their careers and the breeding ground of many other national artist who have emerged and catapulted to the entire world.
