Justo Sanz

Born in the Spanish city of Pontevedra, he specializes in the historical interpretation of music with original instruments. He studied clarinet and recorder at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid, obtaining the End of Career award. He has a diploma in Historical Clarinets with the international concert pianist Eric Hoeprich of the Koninklijk Conservatorium at The Hague (Holland). He has performed as a soloist in numerous auditoriums and festivals in Europe, America and Asia, and is Professor of Clarinet at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid since 1989. He has recorded for Radio Nacional España, Verso, Deustche Grammophon, among others.
