Park's personality and her evolution as a singer have been shaped by her Korean roots and life experience in the West. Her gift for performance, recognized and encouraged at an early age, led her to study at Seoul National University and the renowned Juilliard School of Music in New York. In 2015, she won the Plácido Domingo Operalia, first prize at the Gerda Lissner Foundation International Competition in 2016, and the coveted Hildegard Behrens Foundation Prize in 2018. She recorded her debut album, I am Hera, with the Wiener Symphoniker and Bertrand de Billy, Bellini, Gluck, Handel, Mozart, Pergolesi, Puccini, Rossini, and Korean composers, Joowon Kim and Un-Yung La.
