Salvador López López

Director of the BFM  |  México

In 1982 he became a professional member of Mexico’s Folkloric Ballet at the request of Amalia Hernández, to organize a performance in the city of San Juan del Río, Querétaro, for the Fire Department of that city. His integration to the Ballet was a little by chance since the business man in charge of organizing the show has disappeared and Amalia didn't want to cancel it. Thus, Salvador López joined Mexico’s Folkloric Ballet as producer and coordinator. In 1983, he organized his first international tour to the People's Republic of China. Subsequently, he organized tours in different countries. Up to this day, the ballet has performed in 60 countries.
