Since its foundation 30 years ago, the Theatre has created and rehearsed: the modern opera Tell It to the Sea, the folk-dance drama The Girl’s Dream, the contemporary multimedia dance drama Goodbye to My Concubine, the dance drama Mulan, and the modern dance drama Xian Xinghai. The publicity Department of the CCP Central Committee and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China included many of these performances in the catalog Beauty of China, a brand project of the international exchange. Theatre delegations visited many countries such as France, the USA, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Madagascar and performed on international stages such as the Lincoln Center.
