Beijing Dance Theater

Founded in 2008 by choreographer Wang Yuanyuan, producer Han Jiang and visual artist Tan Shaoyuan, Beijing Dance Theater (BDT) is the only privately managed Chinese dance company that combines contemporary ballet and modern dance. Since its inception, BDT has been recognized worldwide for its unique styles and completely new aesthetics, becoming a benchmark in contemporary dance. With many of its works performed on major stages around the world, the BDT has enjoyed an unparalleled international reputation and has been considered one of the most valuable dance companies in the world.

Its extensive repertoire includes works such as Diary of Empty Space, Haze, Prism, The Color of Love, among others.
