The interpretative quality of the Oaxaca State Music Band, supported by its 155 years, will allow us to connect with the Zapotec, Mixtec and all the roots that make up the different social cores of Oaxaca. With endearing songs such as Tonalteca and Flor de piña by Cipriano Pérez Serna; the danzón Las nereidas, by Amador Pérez Torres; Donají, by Javier Armando Peralta or Dios nunca muere, by Macedonio Alcalá, among others. The public will take a journey to learn about and enjoy the great Oaxacan composers throughout history. The songs that will be performed are part of the extensive musical library of the State (more than 2,200 pieces). This repertoire will include the premiere of the song “Clay Skin” (Piel de barro), a piece by composer Javier Armando Peralta Pérez.
