Novela imposes itself as another fine chapter in Céu's discography, an artist who knows how to change the game from time to time to avoid repeating herself.”
-G1.

“Reggae, hip hop, jazz and the rhythms of Brazil in an experience that makes you dance and sing along.”
-Shutter 16.

“Céu, is one of the most interesting architects of Brazilian music today. Novela is unlike any of her previous albums. It's a deft fusion of Brazilian music, light soul, jazz and an almost rock energy that intimately knows hip-hop culture.”
-La Presse.
