This is one of the three routes of the Festival:
A performance in the form of a street parade in which the participants are living clay sculptures wearing majestic masks. These pieces, which represent the cycle: birth, life and death, allow the company to explore some pre-Hispanic deities. The performance is an allegory of the cosmovisions of pre-Columbian civilizations and their influence on Mexican culture today. For their characterization, they use papier-mâché, cardboard, backgrounds, incense and copal, creating a theatrical atmosphere that transports the spectator to a journey through the underworld.
The tour starts at San Fernando Square and ends at the Alhóndiga de Granaditas Museum.
