Existen muchas formas de llegar a la costa
Existen muchas formas de llegar a la costa is a documentary fiction that examines the effects of mass tourism on ecosystems and communities, using the case of the Riviera Nayarit on the Mexican Pacific coast. Drawing on the story of a former community-based tourism project designed by a group of local residents in collaboration with architect Isabel de Anda—mother of Aristeo Mora, the play’s director—the piece weaves together memory, archival material, documentary records, and fiction to map out a territory in dispute.
The play proposes theater as a space to reflect on the present and pose questions about the future: What does it mean today to speak of paradise? What forms of development are we supporting? What other ways of inhabiting the territory are possible?
