Fernando Domínguez

Recognised as one of the leading exponents of the contemporary clarinet in Mexico, Domínguez has developed close collaborations with composers of various generations, who have written works especially for him. A graduate of the State Conservatory of Vienna, he pursued specialised studies in bass clarinet and contemporary music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, and also holds a degree from Facultad de Música at UNAM. He is a member of Ónix Ensamble and Dúplum, with whom he has toured internationally and recorded more than fifteen albums. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as the OFUNAM, Orquesta de Cámara de Bellas Artes, and Filarmónica de Málaga, among others.
