Son huasteco trio formed in 2021 by instrumentalists, composers and performers Nabani Aguilar (violin and vocals), Obed Calixto (jarana huasteca and vocals) and Joel Ramírez (quinta huapanguera and vocals). They have performed across the Huasteca region, touring states such as Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo, Veracruz and Puebla, as well as giving performances in Oregon and Texas, United States. 

They have shared the stage with several tríos huastecos from across the country and have collaborated with renowned artists over the course of their career, such as Abraham Cruz Villegas, Nubia Landell and Mardonio Carballo, among others. 

They have performed in important venues in Mexico City, including Palacio de Bellas Artes, Sala Carlos Chávez at Centro Cultural Universitario of the UNAM, and Centro Nacional de las Artes.
