A Spanish musician renowned for blending diverse musical genres, from jazz to contemporary classical music. He graduated from Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in 2009.

In addition to his solo career, Mezquida has been part of numerous projects and has contributed to the recording of more than fifty albums. He has been named Musician of the Year several times by the Association of Jazz and Modern Music of Catalonia.

He has performed in concert halls across thirty-two countries on four continents and has recorded more than fifty albums, including fifteen as leader or co-leader of his own groups and thirty-six as a sideman or collaborator on various projects.
