Juan Marcos Martínez

He trained at Facultad Popular de Bellas Artes of Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in music and singing. His career took off on the stages of Michoacán, marking a milestone with his first operatic production in Oaxaca, where he performed as Dancaïre and Morales in the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet.

His talent has led him to shine on international stages, including the United States, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Bulgaria. There, he has brought to life iconic roles such as Figaro and the Count of Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni in the eponymous opera, and Giorgio Germont in La traviata.

His professional debut took place at the Magdeburg Theatre in Germany, performing as Masetto in Don Giovanni. Recently, he has participated in productions of Beatrix Cenci and La bohème with Compañía Nacional de Ópera. He is currently a beneficiary of Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes, where he continues to refine his art.
