Gerardo Rodríguez

Since 2013, his passion for music led him to begin his training with renowned bassist Miguel Sagrero. He has refined his craft through lessons with acclaimed national and international teachers, including Amelia Sierra, Luisa Olvera, Ivonne Garza, Laura Alonso Padín, among many others.

He has participated in prestigious events such as Festival Internacional de Tepic, the Monterrey Summer Opera Academy, and Curso de Repertorio Alemán at the Conservatorio de Ferrol, Spain. He has performed leading roles in operas such as Dido and Aeneas, La traviata, and Turandot, appearing on stages in Mexico, Spain, and China. He was also a soloist in Mozart’s Requiem in Santiago de Compostela.

In theatre, he has taken part in productions such as The Bald Soprano by Ionesco and La serva padrona by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi. In 2024, he made his debut with Compañía Nacional de Ópera in El vencedor vencido and Turandot, thus consolidating his career. He is currently a scholarship recipient at Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes, where he continues to develop his promising artistic career.
