Originally from Mexico City, he is currently a member of the contemporary music ensemble CEPROMUSIC (INBAL), Ensamble del Taller de Composición at UNAM, and the orchestra of the production Into the Woods, under the direction of Miguel Septién. He was part of Orquesta Juvenil Eduardo Mata (OJUEM) at UNAM and has also performed with OFUNAM. He has played under the baton of renowned conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Ludovic Morlot, and Gustavo Dudamel.

He is a founding member of the improvisation ensemble Algo Cruje and has taught in the Orquesta Sinfónica Infantil de México project.
