Mexican musician and founder of the projects Sonido Gallo Negro and Twin Tones, as well as of the label T-Vox Records, he has contributed to more than eighty recordings and has performed in twenty-nine countries and festivals, including Glastonbury, WOMEX and Vive Latino. He has collaborated with artists such as Danny Amis and Dan Stuart, and his compositions have been featured in films and documentaries including Chicuarotes, Black is Beltza and Un año sin Toledo.
A winner of the Indie-O Music Awards in 2009 and 2014, he also delivers talks promoting the arts at institutions such as Tecnológico de Monterrey and UNAM. Between 2005 and 2015, he worked as a sound engineer at Multiforo Alicia. His work is characterised by sonic exploration, a strong connection to cultural roots, and wide international reach.
