Choreographer, musician, educator, and dancer. Originally from Casas Viejas, Veracruz. For thirty years, he was a member of Ballet Folklórico de la Universidad Veracruzana. He has been recognised as Consulting Member of Asociación Nacional de Maestros de Danza Popular Mexicana, Honorary Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Hidalgo, and recipient of the Medal for Civic Merit awarded by the Government of the State of Veracruz. He was a member of Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA). He has created more than sixty choreographies and stage productions at both national and international levels. Academic Director of Instituto Superior de Artes Escénicas Nandehui Xalapa. Founder and Director of the company Jóvenes Zapateadores and of the son jarocho group Son Luna.
