Blanca Ramírez Gil

Choreographer, teacher, producer, and dancer from Puebla. She holds a degree in dance from Universidad Autónoma de Hidalgo. She was a member of Ballet Folklórico de la Universidad Veracruzana under the direction of Miguel Vélez Arceo. She has choreographed for various Mexican dance and theatre companies. As a dancer, she has collaborated with renowned choreographers such as Martín Cruz, Erika Suárez, and Betsaida Pardo, among others. She is the founder and director of Instituto Educacional de la Danza Nandehui A.C., Instituto Superior de Artes Escénicas Nandehui Xalapa, and the company Jóvenes Zapateadores. She served as a Board Member of Red Nacional de Festivales de Danza and was the General Coordinator of both Danzaextrema and Festival Folklórico de Veracruz Miguel Vélez Arceo. She is the Director of Festival Doña Elena CoraSon de Tlacotalpan and Festival Veracruzano de Folklor.
