Teatro Comunitario Cabras, based in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, was founded in 2023 under the direction of Roberto Avendaño as part of Proyecto Ruelas during the 50th Festival Internacional Cervantino. Since then, they have staged the productions Los Perros (inspired by El coloquio de los perros by Miguel de Cervantes) and Torre de agua (a piece created from community memories, by Roberto Avendaño). These performances have helped establish a stable ensemble.
