Laboratorio Danza Arcaica
Tipo de artista: Group
Laboratorio Danza Arcaica, directed by Dehesa Gasca, has established itself as a space dedicated to the experimentation and exploration of movement, physical theatre, and sound design, with over ten years of presence in the dance scene.
Since its inception, it has developed a unique language connected to memory, the ancestral, and bodily dissent. The primary aim of this laboratory is to foster attentive listening to the body as a territory for reflection and creativity, recognising bodily expression as an essential path to imagination, improvisation, and creativity. This enables a deeper dialogue with the environment and enriches human communication. Following this premise, it engages in an intimate dialogue with the surrounding space, considering the body as the medium through which the world is experienced. With the poetics of movement as its central axis, Laboratorio Danza Arcaica develops stage proposals that seek to expand the limits of bodily language and its interaction with the environment.
