From Guanajuato, Mexico, she earned a bachelor’s degree in musical composition from Universidad de Guanajuato, where she studied with Víctor Ibarra. She has complemented her education with masterclasses given by renowned figures such as Ana Lara, Georgina Derbez, Helmut Lachenmann, and Chaya Czernowin.

Her career includes works selected for reading sessions by specialised ensembles such as Colectivo Caleidoscopio and Sigma Project. Her composition Liminalidad del vacío (2022) was premiered by Orquesta Filarmónica de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In this and other works, Rodríguez has developed a compositional voice inspired by interdisciplinary connections, including references to astrophysics.
