
Isabel Rico
She began her studies at Conservatorio de Música y Artes de Celaya, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in choral conducting. She teaches Choral Ensembles at Conservatorio de Música y Artes de Celaya, at both the Preparatory and CIMAN levels. She also teaches the Ear Training course. In 2011, she was a member of Coro de Cámara del Conservatorio de Celaya. That same year, she participated with Coro Juvenil in the opera Carmen. She has served as a judge in contests for the interpretation of the Mexican National Anthem and has participated in five editions of Festival Internacional Cervantino. She directed the CIMAN Choir’s participation in the opera Nuestro Tresguerras.
She was the choral conductor for the soundtrack of the documentary Del papiro a la imprenta.
