
Lina Lapelytė
Lithuanian artist whose performative practice centers on music, exploring pop culture, gender stereotypes, and nostalgia. Her works, which often involve both professional and amateur performers, unfold as collective and affective events that examine vulnerability and silencing. She has held solo exhibitions at FRAC Nantes; Lafayette Anticipations, Paris; and Rupert, Vilnius. Her works have been presented at the 13th Kaunas Biennial, Haus der Kunst in Munich, Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, Tai Kwun in Hong Kong, and other prestigious events such as the Lithuanian Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale, Fondation Cartier in Paris, and the 13th Baltic Triennial in Tallinn.
