Their background includes fine arts, a master’s degree in design and communication, and doctoral studies in social communication. Since 2019, they have explored performance art, theatre, and travestism, using their body and voice as tools of resistance and social change. Their work brings together transfeminism, anticolonialism, Arab queer identity, and sociopolitical critique. They have been recognised with national and international awards and have created six illustrated collections.

In 2024, they launched themself as a DJ and singer. They currently preside over the FDIHA Association, through which they lead projects such as Queer Arab Culture, Shamiát, Halal, and Archivo Queer. Based between Barcelona and Madrid, Kleo is a key voice in contemporary art and dissident movements.
