A brass band from Santa María Tlahuitoltepec Mixe, Oaxaca, that blends traditional Mixe music with genres such as jazz, funk, suun, and Balkan rhythms. Founded in 2017 by Kunt and Andrés Vargas, the project brings together musicians with experience across a wide range of styles —from classical to experimental— while maintaining a strong connection to traditional philharmonic bands and community projects.
