The extensive career of Camilo Lara as Instituto Mexicano del Sonido is a celebration of funk, cumbia, and electronic music, paying homage to the sounds that have shaped an entire country. His sonic experiment made an impact from the very beginning, with fresh, catchy songs that retain a nostalgic aura of a Mexico of times past: memories of cities, colours, people, flavours, and dances we never lived but feel as our own. Accompanying Camilo is Marco Carrión, a producer and composer from Mexico City. With experience from a young age and having composed for soundtracks such as Thor and Black Panther, Marco now tours the world alongside Instituto Mexicano del Sonido.
