An actress with a remarkable career, she has received important awards and nominations both in Mexico and abroad, such as the Perla Negra Award for Best Actress at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, and an Ariel nomination for her performance in the film Norteado, as well as for Potosí, among others.

She has appeared in short films and feature films including La Dictadura Perfecta and Qué Viva México by Luis Estrada, Nudo Mixteco, La Carta, La Tirisia o cómo curar la tristeza by Ángeles Cruz, Huesera by Michelle Garza, Norteado and Los amantes se despiden con la mirada by Rigoberto Perezcano, Días de Gracia by Everardo Gout, Potosí, and Un mundo para mí by Alejandro Zuno, among others. 

In theatre, she has worked with directors such as Alberto Lomnitz, Ruby Tagle, Juan Carrillo, Fernando Bonilla, Aurora Cano, Juan Manuel García Belmonte, Luis Martin Solís, Sebastián Sánchez Ámunategui, José Caballero, Carlos Corona, and José Solé. She has been a beneficiary of Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA) on three occasions.
