Recent recipient of the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actress for the feature film Sujo, which also won the award for Best Picture.

Yadira is an actress that graduated from the National School of Theatrical Arts (ENAT) in 2002. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Theatre Pedagogy at ENAT (2023), she specializes in theatrical mask work and is also a mask instructor. In 2007, she completed a two-year diploma at the International School of Gesture and Image: La Mancha, in Santiago, Chile.

She is a member of the theatre group Los Colochos Teatro, with which she has participated in productions such as Mendoza, Nacahue: Ramón y Hortensia, Silencio, and Tuta. These productions were directed by Juan Carrillo. 

She has appeared in the following theatre productions: Cara de Bolsa, a mask performance directed by Salomón Santiago; ¡Qué cosas tan extrañas!, a puppet theatre show for children directed by Jorge Caballero; Un lindo día, directed by Isabel Romero; Otto, directed by Aziz Gual; and Aves y Cenizas, directed by Verónica Olmedo, a Mexico-Chile binational production.

In film, she has worked with Astrid Rondero and Fernanda Valadez on Sujo (2024), and with Jimena Montemayor Loyo on Mujeres del Alba (2023).
