Rodrigo Elorduy

He holds a degree in Orchestral and Choral Conducting from the Instituto Cardenal Miranda and is a piano soloist trained at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música. He has conducted ensembles such as the Orquesta Filarmónica de la Ciudad de México, OFUNAM, the Orquesta de Cámara de Bellas Artes, and the Orquesta Carlos Chávez. As a choral conductor, he has collaborated with the Coro del Teatro de Bellas Artes, Coro de Madrigalistas, and Ensamble de Solistas del INBAL. Since 2009, he has directed the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil Tlalpan, within the Programa de Orquestas Juveniles y Coros de la Ciudad de México. In 2015, he prepared the Coro de Bellas Artes for Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the London Philharmonic. He has participated in festivals such as the Festival Internacional Cervantino, FAOT, and Ars Vocalis México. Since 2016, he has directed the Orquesta Sinfónica de Coyoacán and the OSJ Ollin Yoliztli, and in 2019 he recorded his music with FONCA and Sterling Records.
