
Ingrid SAC
Mexican stage designer. She studied for a degree in Scenography at the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral. She was awarded an artistic residency at the Banff Centre in 2009, specialising in lighting, and was a recipient of the Jóvenes Creadores grant in 2012. She is currently a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores (2022–2025).
As a stage designer, she has worked on more than one hundred productions, including Novecento, Fuimos héroes, Sonámbulos, Limbo, Jauría, Panorama desde el puente, among others, as well as the opera Viva la mamma and a tribute to Octavio Paz, both presented at the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
She has designed lighting for more than fifty productions, including operas such as L’italiana in Algeri at the Palacio de Bellas Artes and Carmen at the Teatro Bicentenario de León. Throughout her career she has also worked in film and television, designing costumes for two films and a series, in addition to collaborating with renowned directors of the Mexican stage: Mauricio García Lozano, Richard Viqueira, Hugo Arrevillaga, Antonio Castro, Lorena Maza, José Ramón López Velarde, Alberto Lomnitz, Alonso Iñiguez, Alonso Ruizpalacios, and Angélica Rogel.
