Carlos Arturo Galván

He graduated from the Conservatorio Nacional de Música. He made his international debut in 1994 in Honduras and in 2001 in Mexico as Alfredo in La traviata. His vocal versatility and expressiveness have led him to perform in more than 24 emblematic operas, including Otello, Pagliacci, Aïda, Turandot, and Carmen, under the direction of prominent conductors in Mexico, Central America, and Europe.

He has shared the stage with artists such as Plácido Domingo and Javier Camarena. Sponsored by INBAL, he studied in Madrid with Pedro Lavirgen and further trained with Araiza, Vargas, and Colombara.

His artistry has resonated on stages such as the Festival Cervantino, the Auditorio Nacional, and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. Galván has also explored zarzuela and Neapolitan song in his recordings and has served as artistic director in productions of Puccini’s Tosca and Madama Butterfly in Hidalgo.
