Giselle Hauscarriaga

Giselle Hauscarriaga

Stage, audiovisual, and artistic director. She specialises in the creative and technical development of stage and audiovisual projects across theatre, dance, opera, film, live music, and museum spaces. She has worked in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Spain, Croatia, and other countries in Latin America and Europe. Her recent work includes video design for El holandés errante by Richard Wagner, directed by Marcelo Lombardero at the Teatro Municipal de Chile, and stage and technical direction for La Delio Valdez’s concert at Estadio Ferro in Buenos Aires, where she has also served as General Artistic Director since March 2024. She was Audiovisual Director at the Argentine Ministry of Culture from 2019 to 2024, notably at the Centro Cultural Kirchner, where she created various audiovisual formats and directed projects such as Nosotras movemos el mundo, concerts in the Sala Sinfónica and artistic documentaries. In theatre and music, she has contributed to audiovisual and stage design for productions including Querido Evan (Hugo Awards – nominated for Best Set and Video Design), Come from Away, El curioso incidente del perro a medianoche, Un hombre sentado, apostando, and Las aventuras de Pipo. In March 2025, she was invited as an advisor to the Art Hub Queer programme in Zagreb, Croatia, and in June she led the audiovisual production workshop Farsa with the Youth Dance Company of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. This workshop culminated in the creation of the film De tragedia haré gloria, directed by her.
