
Fernanda Lugo
Mexican architect distinguished for her versatility and talent in the field of scenic design; she began her career creating set designs for university theatre projects. Over time, her skill led her to design sets for musical theatre productions, opera, and orchestral concerts. Her professional trajectory includes a significant role as Deputy Production Manager and Technical Coordinator at Compañía Nacional de Ópera of INBAL, where she participated in more than 40 productions, including iconic works such as Carmen, Le voyage à Reims, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, and La Bohème.
During the last two years of her tenure, she played a crucial role as Deputy Production Manager in operas such as Los pescadores de perlas, Florencia en el Amazonas, and La carrera de un libertino —the latter presented at the 50th edition of Festival Internacional Cervantino. Additionally, she carried out the executive production of the opera Avis de Tempête and the tribute concert Luigi Nono y su entorno, as part of Festival CulturaUNAM 2024. Her dedication and creativity continue to leave a significant mark on Mexico’s cultural and artistic scene.
