Originally from Peru, Oscar is the founder and director of ÍNTEGRO. As a stage director, visual artist, choreographer and lighting designer, he holds a master’s degree in visual arts from the Institutul Nicolae Grigorescu in Bucharest, Romania. He studied film at Armando Robles Godoy’s workshop in Lima and choreography at the American Dance Festival in North Carolina, USA. He was awarded the Premio Nacional de Cultura in 2017, the Premio Aibal Award for Best Director in 2015, the Personalidad Meritoria de la Cultura distinction in 2011, the Premio Nacional de Coreografía and the Premio Especial César Vallejo in 1988. His work has been presented in more than thirty countries, participating in prestigious international festivals such as Cervantino in Mexico, Festival de Teatro de Bogotá in Colombia, and the Sommer-theater Festival in Germany, among others.
