He works as a sound designer, foley artist, and composer. His work is internationally recognised for collecting sounds and creating custom microphone setups for each project, blending his craft with contemporary art. He also collaborates as an R&D consultant for studios and audio software companies. In 2021, he won the Oscar for Best Sound Mixing for Sound of Metal, directed by Darius Marder.
