
Claudio Peña
Educator and music composer for over thirty theatre productions, silent films, dance pieces, solo cello sonatas, trios, and quartets. Creator and director of the annual event 100 cellos. He has received the María Guerrero and Luisa Vehil awards for his theatre music compositions. He performs improvised music and jazz, and has given concerts at Ithaca College in New York, in Philadelphia, Mexico, Porto Alegre, and Buenos Aires, among other provinces of Argentina. He directed the cello ensemble ARRE! and performed as an onstage musician in El Farmer with Pompeyo Audivert and Rodrigo de la Serna, and in La farsa de los ausentes.
He is currently the live musician in the play Habitación Macbeth by Pompeyo Audivert.
