She is a Mexican director who graduated in cultural sciences from Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana and complemented her education with studies in graphic design and at INBA’s Escuela de Iniciación Artística.
She began her artistic career in 1989 with an adaptation of Grease and founded the children’s theatre company Cionaery’s. She has participated in the production of El juego que todos jugamos and La Calaca. Since 2000, she has directed Demediado Teatro and Teatro Comunitario de San Ignacio.
She has furthered her training through workshops in circus techniques, ballet, improvisation, and puppet animation, standing out for her work in theatre education and direction for children. Her teaching experience includes courses in theatre, musical comedy, and puppet workshops.
Among her special projects are educational concerts, educational television videos, and her direction of the Ruelas Project at the 51st FIC with Grupo de Teatro De San Ignacio and their play Más vale un buen acuerdo que marineros volando. She has been recognised for her work in socially conscious projects, establishing herself in the field of community theatre.
